Design of the tunnel final lining reinforcement of the “Northern Collector Tunnel (NCT) Phase 1” The Northern Collector Tunnel (NCT) Phase 1 is a water transfer tunnel, transfering raw water from intakes at the Maragua, Gikigie and Irati Rivers to an outlet at the Githika River near Makomboki, upstream of the existing Thika Reservoir.
