Geotechnical Consulting Services during the construction phase of the “Gavrovo” and “Chionaki” Wind Farms at the Pindos mountain range. Specific issues / difficulties encountered included the existence of karstic voids, dolines and sinkholes in the limestone substrata, the quality control of the square embankments, slope stability issues, etc. Works included Quality control of the contractor’s geotechnical works during construction, check of the Geotechnical Interpretation and Design Reports.
